- Napoli and Chelsea Have Finally Reached An Agreement For The Transfer Of Romelu Lukaku
Napoli have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on a permanent basis this summer. After two months of negotiations, it looks like Napoli and Antonio Conte will get their man.
The former Chelsea boss told the hierarchy at Napoli that he wants Romelu Lukaku to replace wantaway star Victor Osimhen. The Naples club have now moved to secure their man after a crushing opening day defeat against Verona.
Napoli will pay Chelsea £38 million (add-ons included) for the 31-year-old Belgian striker. Lukaku has also reportedly agreed personal terms with Napoli, and is eager to link up with Antonio Conte once again as Napoli aim to recapture the Scudetto.
Chelsea will now focus on getting a new striker in. The Blues are leading the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, but the deal is complicated at the moment.
There are reports that Chelsea only want Victor Osimhen on loan with obligation to sign permanently next summer. However, Osimhen’s agent has rubbished talks of a loan move for his client earlier this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Victor Osimhen’s situation will become clearer next week. He reportedly has options in Saudi Arabia, and PSG are still circling.
