On Sunday, Aston Villa had a chance to overtake Liverpool at the top, but Ipswich spoiled their hopes in a thrilling 2-2 draw. Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United faltered again, suffering a 3-0 defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

What a performance from the Leicester goalkeeper! He almost singlehandedly dealt Arsenal a huge blow in the title race.
Hermansen was exceptional in the second half, making 13 crucial saves, including several from point-blank range. Arsenal eventually found the winner through an own goal, capitalizing on their well-known “dubious” corner routine, but that still doesn’t undermine Hermansen’s performance on Saturday.
Dwight McNeil
Everton finally claimed their first win of the season. After twice throwing away two-goal leads, the Toffees held firm at home against Crystal Palace.
Dwight McNeil was the hero, curling home a stunner early in the second half and scoring the winner just seven minutes later.
Dejan Kulusevski
Kulusevski dominated Manchester United, creating nine chances and exploiting their vulnerable midfield.
The Swede also scored Spurs’ second goal, sealing the victory early in the second half and leaving United with no way back.
Liam Delap
Aston Villa were favorites to take all three points against Ipswich, but Liam Delap had other plans. The City academy graduate opened the scoring with a well-taken shot, though Emi Martinez fumbled the save.
Villa quickly responded and took the lead with goals from Morgan Rodgers and Ollie Watkins. However, Delap embarked on a solo run from the halfway line, dribbled past Diego Carlos, and calmly slotted the ball home, securing a point for his side.
Cole Palmer
Some pundits are calling Cole Palmer the best player in the Premier League, and his incredible performance against Brighton supports the claim.
Palmer scored all four goals in Chelsea’s 4-2 home win. After Brighton took the lead early, Palmer equalized in the 21st minute, followed by a penalty just seven minutes later. His third was a stunning 30-yard free-kick, and his fourth was a near-post finish—all before halftime.
