Manchester United have submitted a new bid for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, according to reports from The Athletic. The improved bid totals £60 million, and talks continue with Brentford as United remain confident of sealing a deal for Mbeumo.

United have already completed the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and adding Bryan Mbeumo will bring much-needed firepower to their forward line.
Bryan Mbeumo has given priority to Manchester United this summer, as he hopes to join the Old Trafford side. The Cameroonian wants the move to Old Trafford, but that could still change if Manchester United fail to agree on a fee with Brentford.
Spurs also consider a move for Mbeumo, especially after Brentford’s former manager moved to the North London club. Thomas Frank could use his relationship with Mbeumo to facilitate a deal for Tottenham if Manchester United cannot reach an agreement with Brentford.
After signing Matheus Cunha, if United sign Mbeumo, they will also look to add a striker to their ranks this summer. However, that could depend on whether they sell or loan out Rasmus Hojlund this summer. The Red Devils have linked themselves with Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyökeres, and Hugo Ekitike.
