The Premier League weekend was defined by managerial turmoil and the unstoppable form of Erling Haaland.

Nottingham Forest acted swiftly, firing manager Ange Postecoglou just 20 minutes after their 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea. Postecoglou, who had vowed to win a trophy at Forest, was removed following eight winless matches that left the club in the bottom three.

Former Man City boss Roberto Mancini and Sean Dyche have reportedly been contacted for the vacant role.
Meanwhile, Manchester City climbed to second place with a 2-0 win over Everton. Erling Haaland scored both goals in a devastating five-minute spell, taking his season tally to 23 goals in 13 games.

City manager Pep Guardiola praised his striker: “He’s our key man… but at the same time, we cannot rely on and do good things just with Erling.”
Leaders Arsenal maintained their spot with a 1-0 win at Fulham, thanks to a trademark Bukayo Saka corner converted by Leandro Trossard.
Elsewhere, Jean-Philippe Mateta scored a stoppage-time penalty to complete his hat trick in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Bournemouth.
