Chelsea have sacked manager Enzo Maresca after 18 months in charge. The Italian manager led Chelsea back into the Champions League, and also won the UEFA Europa Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup in America in July.

The Blues and the Italian parted ways after a recent run of bad results, coupled with a total breakdown in Maresca’s relationship with Chelsea’s directors and leaders.
Chelsea are now looking to appoint a permanent replacement for the Italian, and Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior is a frontrunner. Chelsea can also look at other options in former Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez, and former Brighton and current Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi.
