Much has been said about the quality of the Premier League this season, but some players held up their standard from the first whistle of the season to the last. Arsenal and City set the standard in the league, and many of their players can easily land a place in the team of the season.
The Gunners finally recaptured the EPL title, and Mikel Arteta’s men have been impressive, especially their disciplined back four, but which other players will get into the Tossyardkings team of the season? Let’s find out.
Tossyardkings Premier League Team Of The Season For 2025/26
David Raya

One of the most important cogs in the Arsenal defensive machine that won the League. David Raya kept 19 clean sheets this season while making important saves that directly led Arsenal to win some key matches in the title run-in.
Matheus Nunes
One goal and 7 assists is not bad for a right-back in the Premier League, especially for a team that was in the title race until the penultimate matchday. Matheus Nunes has completed his transition from a midfielder to a top right back, and he held City down in that position brilliantly all season.
William Saliba

A brilliant year in the Premier League for William Saliba. The Frenchman was unmovable at the base of Arsenal’s defence alongside his partner Gabriel Magalhaeas.
Gabriel Magalhaes
Arguably Arsenal’s best player in the Premier League this season. Arsenal’s defensive approach won them the League, and Gabriel was at the heart of that. He was undoubtedly the best defender in the League and also one of Arsenal’s best attackers from set-plays.
Nico O’Reilly
Awarded the best young player of the season for a reason. Nico O’Reily was consistently performing for Manchester City this season and also chipped in with important goals when he pushed forward.
Dominik Szboszlai
In a challenging season for Liverpool, Szboszlai was the shining light. The Hungarian star carried Liverpool for a large part of their campaign. He played 8 matches as a right back, and was moved around the pitch to help The Reds become more effective. He scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions this season.
Elliot Anderson

His performances this season has earned him a place in the English squad for the World Cup. He is also reportedly on the radar of Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal, that is how good he has been for a struggling Nottingham Forest side this season.
Declan Rice
The Engine behind Arsenal’s relentlessness in the League this season. Declan Rice showed what it means to be a true box to box midfielder this season by defending, cutting out opponent play, creating chances, delivering brilliant set-pieces, scoring goals and doing much more to push Arsenal to the League title.
Bruno Fernandes

21 Assists as Manchester United decided to simplify things again and got back to their best. Bruno Fernandes is the popular choice for the player of the season awards amongst players and fans alike and there is a good reason for it. He has singlehandedly led Manchester United to a UCL finish.
Antoine Semenyo
Moving from a team like Bournemouth to Manchester City is enough to slow some players down, but not Antoine Semenyo. He helped revitalize Manchester City’s attack halfway through the season, and helped them sustain a title charge till Matchday 37.
Erling Haaland
A quiet second half of the season from the Norwegian does not invalidate the work he does for Manchester City even when he is not scoring. Despite a relatively quite last few months of the season, Haaland still won the Golden Boot quite conveniently. He continues to be the best striker in the league, by a mile.
