Barcelona have agreed on personal terms with the Spanish forward who will sign a 5-year-deal with the Catalans.
Manchester City are willing to let Ferran Torres leave the club. A transfer to Barcelona for the Spanish player is now 99.9% close according to some reports.
Torres loves the idea of linking up with Xavi at Barcelona. It represents a chance for him to get consistent first-team action unlike what he faces in the Manchester City team.
Barcelona want to build their attack around the Spaniard, and also Torres is the future of Spanish national team.
There could be an announcement of some sort very soon as Barcelona have identified Manchester City’s forward as the man to help lead their attack.
Ferran Torres is a very important player for Manchester City and he has shown that he can play anywhere across the forward line for the Citizens.
The Manchester City forward scored 3 times and provided one assist before he got injured some months back.
Torres also helped Guardiola’s men recapture the EPL trophy last season as he contributed 7 goals and two assists in the PL. Ferran Torres scored 13 times and registered three assists in all competitions last season.
Manchester City will look to replace the former Valencia man with RB Leipzig’s forward Dani Olmo.
Olmo will be a perfect replacement for Torres and it will cost almost the same to sign him from Leipzig.
