Barcelona have announced the signing of Ferran Torres from Manchester City. The 21-year-old forward has completed his medical and has signed a 5-year-deal with Barcelona.
Ferran wanted to leave Manchester City because of game time and Pep Guardiola was happy to let him go. Torres joined Manchester City only 18 months ago, but he is now back in Spain.
“I cannot push the players or convince the player if his mind is elsewhere. [It makes] no sense,” said Guardiola. “Other clubs say it doesn’t matter, I’m not agreeing. Every club has to decide how to deal with that, [this is] my personal opinion [to let them leave].”
