The NBA Playoffs have produced one finalist so far and no, it isn’t LeBron James and the Lakers. It is the irrepressible Nikola Jokic and the feisty Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets defeated the Lakers 113-111 to complete a series sweep and advance to the NBA Finals.

Despite LeBron James going off for 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, the Nuggets were led by Nikola Jokic, who once again posted a triple-double. Jamal Murray was also a constant threat, which proved too much for the hosts.

Jokic was his usual excellent self, scoring and assisting at a high level and reminding everyone why he is currently the best player in the NBA.

He finished with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists, including making some pretty impossible shots and setting up his teammates for easy looks.

Jamal Murray remained a consistent offensive presence and contributed 25 points as the Nuggets completed a historic sweep.

LeBron spoke after the game ad dropped a hint regarding his future in the NBA.

“I got a lot to think about,” James said post-game.

“Just personally, with me moving forward with the game of basketball, I got a lot to think about.”

The Denver Nuggets will now await the winner of the series between Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.
