AC Milan are close to signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The English midfielder has already agreed personal terms with the Italian outfit, and a deal has now been agreed between AC Milan and Chelsea. Milan will pay a reported €16m plus €4m in add-ons.
Loftus-Cheek has been at Chelsea since the age of eight. He came through the Cobham academy and made his debut under José Mourinho back in 2015.
He has gone out on loan to clubs like Crystal Palace and Fulham in the Premier League, and was one f Chelsea’s best midfield prospect before his unfortunate injury in 2019.
The 27-year-old midfielder is excited by AC Milan’s project and wants to move to Italy.
Lazio considered moving for Ruben Loftus-Cheek recently, because of his relationship with former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, However Milan have moved quick to secure his signature.
Loftus Cheek’s best season at Chelsea was in 2018/19 under Maurizio Sarri.
The midfielder scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists under the Italian manager to fire Chelsea to the UEFA Europa League final, which he missed due to injury.
He made a total of 155 appearances for Chelsea’s first team, scoring 13 times and assisting 18 goals.

Chelsea have sold Kalidou Koulibaly, and Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, and Mason Mount are all expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.
