Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool target Alexis Mac Allister wants a move to Anfield. Liverpool have impressed the Argentine midfielder with their proposed project, and could seal a move to Merseyside early this summer.
Mac Allister has been impressing a lot of Premier League observers since he joined the club from Argentinos Juniors back in 2019.
The World Cup winner has been a mainstay in the Seagull’s team since 2020. Top clubs are interested in him following his showing at the 2022 World Cup. Mac Allister wants to leave, and would like to sort out his future early this summer.
Transfermkt.com values Mac Allister around €50M, but Liverpool will negotiate for less. The Argentine’s contract ends in two years, and he has insisted he will not sign a renewal with Brighton.
Manchester United also want to sign Mac Allister, but the current situation with the sale of the club will limit their actions for now.
Liverpool are hoping to wrap up the deal in the coming weeks to avoid competing with the likes of Chelsea or one of the EPL top 6 for his signature.
