Arsenal are will be on the hunt for a new striker this summer, and the Gunners are reportedly tracking Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedish striker has been in impeccable in the Portuguese league so far this season. He leads the league in goals with 19, and has also contributed 9 assists.
The Gunners are looking to up their efficiency in attack with the addition of a top striker. Arsenal’s main striker Gabriel Jesus has been inconsistent in front of goal for the Gunners since his move from Manchester City last term.
The Gunners have also been linked with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen who will only be sold if his £113 million release clause is triggered.
Sporting Lisbon signed Gyokeres from Championship side Coventry last summer for €24 million, and has evolved into one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe today.

The Swedish star is dynamic enough for the Premier League, and also fantastic in the air. His shot accuracy is one area of his game that will entice Mikel Arteta. Gyokeres has outperformed his personal (xg) this season by 6 goals, despite averaging 1.6 shots on target per match.
