Arsenal will move for Raheem Sterling this summer.
With the arrival of Erling Haaland at Manchester City imminent, The Citizens will move to sell at least one attacker this summer. Arsenal want to do a deal for Raheem Sterling. Sterling has had a stop-start season with Manchester City this term, with other attackers being preferred to him most times. Still, The English forward has scored 12 league goals in 28 appearances this season, mostly as a substitute.
Mikel Arteta is a fan of the forward and thinks he could help take Arsenal to the next level. Arteta worked with Sterling at Manchester City. That detail could help Arsenal in trying to convince the 27-year-old to join.
Arsenal will need to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League to be able to convince the forward.
Sterling started his career with Liverpool but has enjoyed success on and off the pitch since he joined Manchester City.
