FC Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Barcelona have confirmed the signing of former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Barcelona signed him after Arsenal agreed to terminate his contract. The Gabon striker will sign a contract until 30th June 2025 with an option to agree on departure on the 30th June 2023.
Barcelona will present Aubameyang as a new signing before fans soon. Although, Aubameyang has already started training with the side.

Auba spent 4 years at Arsenal, scoring 92 goals and providing 21 assists. The former Borussia Dortmund man will link up with Xavi at Barcelona and also his former teammate Ousmane Dembele.
Arteta froze Auba out of Arsenal`s first team after stripping him off the club`s captaincy. Speaking after signing for Barcelona the Gabon striker said
“I’m happy to be here at Barcelona I will give it my all to help the team”
Auba has already scored 7 goals for Arsenal this season, and Xavi will be happy to have a proven goal scorer in his ranks. Aubameyang could be in line to make his first Barcelona appearance against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
Barcelona have had a good winter transfer window. They signed Ferran Torres, Adama Traore, Dani Alvez, and now Aubameyang. Xavi is clearly assembling a team strong enough to achieve the club goals.
