Arsenal Are Playing With Confidence And Without Aubameyang
Their “Lower Teams” Plan
Young Players Leading The Charge
Can Arsenal Qualify For The Champions League?
Arsenal have been in superb form of late and it is leading fans to believe that Arsenal could sneak back into the Champions League places at the end of the season. Although the Gunners have suffered some heavy defeats this season, they seem to always gain back their confidence each time.
Confident Arsenal.
The Gunners dispatched Norwich 5-0 on Boxing day and it was the manner in which they dominated that match that was impressive. Norwich are arguably the weakest side in the league, but still Mikel Arteta deserves credit for his team’s recent performances. Arsenal have won their last four Premier League games and have only conceded once.
Even without a key player like Aubameyang, The Gunners have been firing well, scoring 19 goals in their last five matches in all competitions.
The “Lower Teams” Plan
Mikel Arteta’s side have not been impressive against the big teams this season, they’ve lost to Chelsea, both Manchester clubs, and Liverpool. Among the Big six, they have only won against Tottenham this season.
Arsenal were poor in those games, but it just shows how far they still are from the best teams in England. However, it is against the smaller clubs that Arsenal have been making sure they’re gathering enough points.

It is a very good way to challenge for European places in the Premier League. Among the smaller teams that Arsenal have played, they’ve only dropped points against Everton, Brighton and Crystal Palace, and that shows Mikel Arteta’s plans for the team.
Arsenal Youngsters Lead The Charge
Arteta’s plans with the players is also very clear.
The Spaniard has given youngsters like Emile Smith-Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka the freedom they need to help Arsenal achieve their goals this campaign.
Martin Ödegaard has also been at the heart of things for the Gunners and it shows that the future is bright at the Emirates Stadium.
Some of their performances have been bad this season, but still Arsenal are gathering enough points to still be in the race for Champions League qualification.
UCL Qualification Possible?
Can The Gunners do it this season? It is possible, but with the emergence of Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester United, and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham, the task will only get harder.
Arsenal are currently fourth on the log and if by any chance they’re able to still be there at the end of January, then they have a very good chance of returning to the Champions League.
Mikel Arteta knows the goal and he and his boys will keep taking it one match at a time, so they do not lose focus.
