In the latest rounds of EPL Hall of fame inductions, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal legends have all been inducted into the Premier League hall of fame.
Petr Cech – EPL Hall of Fame Inductee 2023
The second goalkeeper in the hall of fame list so far after Peter Schmeichel was inducted last year. Cech embodies the qualities of the greatest era in Chelsea football club’s history. The Czech goalie holds the record for the most clean sheets in the Premier League and in a single season with 24. Petr Cech won the EPL 4 times at Chelsea before his impressive spell at Arsenal towards the end of his career.
Rio Ferdinand
Ferdinand played for West Ham, Leeds, and Manchester United, but he made this list because of his time in Manchester. His leadership in defence helped Manchester United dominate the country for most part of his years at the club. The retired English defender won the Premier League 6 times in 12 years with Manchester United. Ferdinand finished his Premier League career with 504 appearances, 11 goals, 8 assists, while keeping 189 clean sheets.
Tony Adams
Arsenal Legend Tony Adams makes the class of ’23. Asene Wenger described Adams as a “Doctor in the art of defending”. Adams was a one-club man, he spent all his professional career at the club, retiring in 2002. After the rebranding in 1992, Adams made 255 appearances in the Premier League, winning 2 titles. He also scored 12 goals and kept 115 clean sheets for the North London side.
