According to recent reports, Chelsea have approached Newcastle United for their star striker Alexander Isak. The 24-year-old Swedish striker scored 25 times in 40 appearances for Newcastle last season.
Latest reports indicate that Chelsea have enquired about the Swede, but it would take a lot of effort from Chelsea if they are to land the forward.
The Blues have already reached agreement with Aston Villa for young striker Omari Kellyman. The Blues are also close to signing Barcelona’s young striker Marc Guiu. Deals for both forwards is under €30 million, and that could indicate that Chelsea still want to sign an experienced top young striker in Alexander Isak.
Newcastle need to make a big sale this summer. Newcastle’s midfield maestro Bruno Guimaraes is being linked with a big move to either Arsenal or Manchester City this summer. The club could also consider selling Isak if they receive an acceptable offer.
The Toons value Alexander Isak around €115 million, and the deal could reach around €200 million including players wages and agent fees if Chelsea decide to go bring him in.
