- Chelsea Want To Seal Two Deals This Week
Chelsea Football Club’s recent commitment to signing emerging talents continues and their latest focus is on Barcelona’s young striker Marc Guiu.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are very close to securing the 18-year-old’s signature. The Blues have agreed personal terms with the player’s camp, and they want to get a €6m deal done as quickly as possible.
Barcelona’s La Masia academy setup highly rates Marc Guiu, and former manager Xavi also liked him.
Barcelona have not given up on keeping the young striker, as they’ve offered him a new contract to stay at the club, and work under Hansi Flick. Guiu is yet to respond to Barcelona’s new contract proposal.
Another young striker will be having his medical at Chelsea today. The Blues sealed a £19m deal with Aston Villa for highly rated striker Omari Kellyman.
Kellyman will have his medical with Chelsea today and sign his contract with the West London club this week.
Omari Kellyman’s deal is part of a series of intra-Premier League transfers that also sees Ian Maatsen head to Villa park for £37.5 million
