Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus at the end of the season. The Argentine’s contract with the club ends this summer – while many thought the forward was going to sign a new contract, news coming out of Turin suggests otherwise.
Since the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic, Paulo Dybala’s future in Turin looked in doubt. However, it is now clear the former Palermo man will leave after 7 years with the club.
Dybala is leaving because the team and the project of Juventus has changed. Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene gave insights as to how the decision was made.
“With the arrival of Vlahovic the technical aspect, the team and the project have changed. Part of those changes relates to Dybala’s contract which has not been renewed today.
“Today’s meeting was friendly, very clear, and respectful. On the part of Juve, it was not easy to make a lower offer, and they were not very respectful towards Paulo. He spent 7 years with us, there is respect for him. The decision was made, we thought about it a lot, but I want to underline one thing: the management of Juventus does not make decisions against Juventus, but for Juventus”
Now that Paulo Dybala is leaving Juventus, where do you see “La Joya” playing next summer?
