- Marmoush Can Give Manchester City An Extra Edge Against Real Madrid
Omar Marmoush announced himself to Manchester City fans with a 14-minute hat-trick against Newcastle this past weekend. If unleashed properly, the Egyptian could be the difference for Manchester City in their bid to overturn their first leg result against Real Madrid and grab a spot in the next round of the UEFA Champions League.

The Egyptian forward sealed a sensational £59m move to Manchester City in January from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Many City fans thought he was going to immediately start scoring for Manchester City like he has been for Frankfurt all season before his move, but it has taken Omar Marmoush a few matches to acclimatize and understand the way Pep Guardiola wants to utilize him.
Marmoush came on in the 84th minute against Real Madrid last week and could not affect the game. This week, Guardiola could use the forward as a direct threat behind striker Erling Haaland to give Manchester City an extra edge on Wednesday.
Dangerous Omar Marmoush
The 26-year-old is capable of coming in off the left side of attack where he could replace Jack Grealish from last week’s lineup, to make room for Kevin de Bruyne or Foden alongside Savinho.
The Egyptian could also slot in the number 10 position and be a more direct threat and an extra burden for Real Madrid to worry about after Haaland.

The problem Marmoush’s movement can cause was evident against Newcastle as the Egyptian forward stole the game from Newcastle’s grasp with three confident finishes under 14 minutes, and this might just be exactly what Pep Guardiola needs against a very stubborn Real Madrid side.
Real Madrid are not in the best form and Manchester City can go to Santiago Bernabéu with hopes of scoring as much as possible and that can be helped massively by latest hat-trick hero Omar Marmoush.
