- United looking to sell At Least 4 First Team Players, Sign Michael Olise and a Striker.
With the INEOS buy-in at Manchester United almost complete, plans are already underway to refresh Manchester United’s squad for next season.
Manchester United and INEOS have identified and agreed to pursue Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise this summer. United will be looking to sign Olise and an experienced striker, as the club failed to land one in January.
Olise has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and now United look like the strongest interest at the moment.
INEOS want a new structure to how Manchester United is run, and they’ll be looking to make a strong appointment in regard to who leads transfer recruitments.
Dan Ashworth has been mentioned, but the Newcastle director is reportedly happy in Tyneside with the Magpies project.
Manchester United are also willing to sell some players in order to raise funds for their restructure in the summer. Raphael Varane will reportedly leave if he doesn’t take a pay cut.
Manchester United will also be looking to sell Aaron Wan Bissaka. Anthony Martial will leave at the end of this season, and the club will also listen to offers for Casemiro.
After Olise, United want a proven striker. They are interested in signing Victor Osimhen, who has been tipped to leave Napoli this summer. Serhou Guirassy, Joshua Zirkzee and Benjamin Sesko are all names on Manchester United’s radar.
