Reports have confirmed that Jadon Sancho and Mohamed Salah will remain at Manchester United and Liverpool respectively beyond the Saudi Arabia transfer window deadline, which is today.
Since Jadon Sancho’s statement after the Arsenal game, sources have linked the Englishman with a move away from the Premier League.
The winger has had a torrid time at Manchester United since his move to the club in 2021, and his latest act might be one of his last at the club, but he will remain at the club till at least January as Fabrizio Romano has ruled out a late Saudi move for the 23-year-old.
Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah will remain a Liverpool player beyond today. After Liverpool rejected their €100M plus add-ons bid last week, Al Ittihad was weighing up another move for the Egyptian.
The Athletic have confirmed that Salah will remain a Liverpool player as The Reds have no intention to sell this late into the season, and Salah is also very motivated and happy to stay in Merseyside.
That might not be all for the Salah to Saudi talk though, as Liverpool are bracing themselves up for another Al Ittihad offer in January or next summer.
The Reds are reportedly targeting Atlético Madrid forward João Félix as replacements if Salah does move to Saudi next year. Felix is currently on loan at Barcelona, and that could make things difficult for Liverpool next summer, as the player wants to remain with the Catalans permanently.
