- Possible Loan Move Away From Bundesliga On The Cards For The Former Ajax Man
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly considering signing Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch. The former Ajax youngster wants loan move away from the Bundesliga, at least for a year, to get regular minutes.
Ryan Gravenberch arrived at Bayern for a fee just under £20M last summer. Since his arrival, the Dutch midfielder has only played just over 800 minutes in 31 appearances for Bayern, averaging less than 20 minutes per game in Bavaria.
There were talks of him going’s out on loan in January, but was shut down by Bayern Munich’s heirachy. However, there is a real possibility he leaves Germany next season, at least on loan.
Gravenberch is also attracting interest from Liverpool, a team looking to revamp their midfield this summer. Jürgen Klopp’s side will not be signing Jude Bellingham this summer. Gravenberch could be a nice, cheaper and quality option for Liverpool.
Gravenberch broke into the Ajax team under Erik ten Hag. Sources linked the Dutch midfielder to United last summer as replacement for Paul Pogba before Bayern Munich snatched him up. This summer could be an opportunity for the United to get him.
