Manchester United are reportedly planning to sell Kobbie Mainoo in the 2025 summer transfer window to raise funds for their top target, Victor Osimhen.
According to Sky Germany, Mainoo’s departure is part of a larger effort to free up the club’s budget for major signings.

The Red Devils are confident that they will be able to invest in top transfers this summer, especially as the budget will be freed up through the possible and planned departures of Victor Lindelof, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Kobbie Mainoo.
The sales of Marcus Rashford and Antony would provide the club with even greater financial flexibility.
United have identified Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, as their primary target for the summer.

The Nigeria international is expected to leave Napoli permanently at the end of the season, and United are eager to finalize a deal.
While Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in Osimhen, their pursuit are not as aggressive as United’s, who are the frontrunners to sign the Nigerian goal-machine.
