Chelsea have missed out on the signing of Michael Olise now as the Frenchman is reportedly headed to the Bundesliga to join Bayern Munich.
According to reports, Chelsea are still keen on signing at least one young winger this summer, and here is a list of 3 young wingers with plenty potential.
These players are also relatively cheap compared to the more established wingers around Europe.
1 – Matias Soule
Juventus forward Matias Soule would be the nail on “perfect alternative” to Michael Olise.
The Argentine is an highly rated winger who impressed at Frosinone on loan from Juventus last season.
Despite playing for a struggling team in the Serie A, Soule still managed to notch 10 goals and 3 assists for the lowly Rome side.
The 21-year-old contributed directly to 30% of the goals Frosinone scored last season, one can only imagine things he will do in a more settled team like Chelsea.
Although Frosinone finished 18th, Soule’s market value has only increased. He is currently worth €25million (According to Transfermkt)
2 – Nico Williams
Nico Williams lit up La Liga last season, and that is why he is currently leading Spain’s attack at the Euros alongside Lamine Yamal.
Chelsea have been monitoring Williams for a while, and he will be a superb alternative to Michael Olise.
Nico is a smart creator in and around the box. He demonstrated that fantastically last season by assisting 19 goals in all competitions and scoring 8 times himself.
Because Nico Williams has more experience at the highest level than Soule, He is valued at around €60 million.
Given that he is only 21, Chelsea could see this as a fantastic investment.
3 – Crysensio Summerville
Summerville was Leeds United’s star man in the Championship last season. The Dutch winger scored 21 times and assisted 10 goals in all competitions last season.
Summerville is also being tracked by Brighton and Hove Albion, and that shows how highly-rated he is.
He is currently 22-years-old, and is valued at around €20 million
