The NFL returned to action for week 7 and there were some very interesting results. Some shockers as well as some rather predictable outcomes. Here, we take a look at some of the talking points from the weekend’s action.
The Tennessee Titans Are The Real Deal
One impressive performance after another has seen the Titans improve. Last Monday, Tennessee defeated the Buffalo Bills, the most in-form team in the league. This week, they defeated the disappointing Kansas City Chiefs. The scoreline which was 27-3 in favour of the Titans should have really been more.
For the Chiefs, it was another disappointing NFL performance. Patrick Mahomes was inaccurate all game. He completed 20 passes for 206 yards, one interception and also lost a fumble. The former MVP left the game in the fourth quarter due to a head injury. His performance up till that point left a lot to be desired.
Can The Arizona Cardinals Go Unbeaten?
The Cardinals defeated the Houston Texans 31-5 to move to 7-0 on the season. They fell to an early 5-0 deficit after a slow start but recovered to win easily. Star quarterback Kyle Murray completed 20 of his attempted 28 passes for 261 yards. After going 5-0 down, the Cardinals quickly restored order. They answered with two touchdowns and a field goal before the break for a 17-5 halftime lead.
Another hugely disappointing outing for the Houston Texans. Failing once again score a touchdown. Rookie Davis Mills is now 0-5 as the team’s starting quarterback. He completed 23 of 32 passes for 135 yards.

Bengals Produce Performance Of The Weekend
The Bengals made light work of a daunting task against the Ravens. Going to Baltimore was always seen as a difficult assignment. The Bengals played one of their best games this season to secure the win. Quarterback Joe Burrow put up one of his best performances.
The Ravens just had no answer. The final score was 41-17 to the Bengals and it felt every bit like a blowout. The Baltimore Ravens did put up an early fight but one of the hottest tight ends in football, CJ Uzomah responded with two touchdowns. The win ended their five-game losing streak against the Ravens.
