The Premier League delivered another weekend filled with excitement, world-class goals, and shock results, before shutting everything down for a fortnight-long international break.
Liverpool may have established themselves as strong contenders for the title, but just a single point separates seven teams scattered between third and ninth.
Here are the three best performers of the past weekend.
Marc Cucurella (Chelsea)
After producing a goal or an assist in ten of his previous 13 Premier League appearances, Bukayo Saka was silenced by Marc Cucurella.
Making his first league start in more than a month, the Spanish full-back was close to Arsenal’s danger man all game, until the beaten winger limped off the pitch in the 81st minute.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
Heading into October’s international break, Bruno Fernandes had been sent off twice in five days and was having his future at Old Trafford called into question.
One short month later, United’s captain is scoring and creating chances for fun.
Fernandes played a role in all three goals against Leicester City, rattling in United’s opening, forcing Victor Kristiansen’s own goal, and laying the ball off for Alejandro Garnacho’s screamer.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
Mohamed Salah was on fire again, scoring Liverpool’s second goal in their win over Aston Villa, just days after netting the winner against Brighton.
Salah dominated Villa’s left-back Lucas Digne from the start, and although he was fouled before Darwin Nunez scored the opener, he wouldn’t be denied. The Egyptian superstar sealed Liverpool’s 2-0 lead with a brilliant strike.
