Whew! We have enjoyed the thrilling actions of Premier League Matchweek 19, which means we are exactly halfway through the season, and Liverpool look have a look of Champions about them. The Merseyside club keep going from strength to strength, and with their emphatic 5-0 win away at West Ham, they are six points clear at the top of the table with one game in hand.
Chelsea continue their recent poor form with a 2-0 loss away at Ipswich Town. Manchester City finally picked up all 3 points away at Leicester City, while Arsenal and Nottingham Forest also picked up all 3 points to keep things compact at the top of the table.
Ruben Amorim and Manchester United continued their horrible run of games as they lost to Newcastle at Old Trafford.

Savinho Oliveira
Savinho finally scored his first Premier League goal for Manchester City, and boy was that needed. The Brazilian was in excellent form against Leicester. He helped Pep Guardiola’s men pick up much needed 3 points with a goal and an assist.
Gabriel Jesus
Arsenal’s man in form was again in business at the Gtech stadium. Arsenal defeated Brentford 3-1 away from home and Gabriel Jesus helped with a goal and assist.
Chris Wood
Chris Wood scored his 11th goal of the season with a well taken looped finish against Everton to set his team on their way to 3 points away at Goodison Park. The New Zealand international also assisted Morgan Gibbs-White’s clincher.
Liam Delap
Liam Delap was the difference maker for Ipswich against Chelsea. The City academy graduate played against the Chelsea defense all by himself and grabbed a goal and assist as his side picked up 3 points at home for the first time this season.
Mohamed Salah
King Mohamed Salah was in the thick of things again for Liverpool. The Egyptian has now scored 17 goals and assisted 13 just halfway through the season, and he is a major reason Liverpool are favorites to win the EPL now. Salah assisted two goals and also scored 1 in Liverpool’s 5-0 rout away at West Ham.
