Premier League Matchweek 25 began with a horrible Valentine’s Day trip for Chelsea fans. The Blues lost away at Brighton for the second time in a week, and after a 3-0 loss on Friday, they slipped out of the top 4.
Manchester United suffered their 12th defeat of the season against Tottenham, and Arsenal left it late against Leicester City with two goals from Mikel Merino. Liverpool claimed an important 2-1 win against Wolves, while Manchester City surprisingly defeated Newcastle United 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Tottenham’s reliable Italian goalkeeper is back in action, and he was incredibly decisive for the North London side against Manchester United. Vicario made 6 saves as Tottenham Hotspurs claimed an important win over Ruben Amorim‘s Manchester United.

Ethan Newneri did not score against Leicester, but he was incredibly impressive. The youngster created the most chances, hit the bar twice, completed the most dribbles (7), had the most tackles and won the most duels for Arsenal against Leicester City. He also decisively assisted Mikel Merino’s opener.
Yankuba Minteh
Minteh was incredible against Chelsea. The Gambian star scored two impressive goals against Chelsea. He also created 3 chances, completed the most dribbles and won the most duels on the night as the seagulls dispatched Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea.
Mikel Merino
Arsenal’s savior slotted right in attack when Mikel Arteta needed him the most. Merino came on with just 20 minutes left to play, and he scored twice to lift Arsenal’s injury ravaged attack.
Omar Marmoush
Another Egyptian king has arrived in the Premier League. Marmoush announced himself to English football fans in spectacular fashion. The former Frankfurt forward scored a hat-trick in 14 minutes to snatch the game from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle side before McAtee wrapped up the scoring to hand Pep Guardiola’s side their 4th league in 2025.
