Chelsea and Spurs wrapped up the action for Premier League Matchweek 30 last night. The Blues claimed a much-needed 1-0 win at home to Spurs to complete yet another double over the North Londoners.
Manchester United could not continue their pre-international break form as they lost away to Nottingham Forest, who boosted their chances of playing in the UCL massively with a 1-0 win at home.
Manchester City defeated Leicester City at the Etihad 2-0. Ipswich picked up 3 points away to Bournemouth, and Southampton got a draw at home to Crystal Palace.
Bukayo Saka took just 6 minutes to score in a 2-1 win for the Gunners after missing 3 months of football due to injury. Liverpool also claimed a 1-0 win in the Merseyside derby.
Let’s Rank the Top 5 Best Players of Premier League Matchweek 30
Diogo Jota

Edged out Luis Díaz, who was brilliant on the night for Liverpool, but for good reason. Jota was the only effective attacker for Liverpool on a night Mohamed Salah was marked out of the game. Jota danced through Everton’s stubborn backline to slam in a finish that gave title-chasing Liverpool all 3 points at Anfield.
Enzo Fernández

A pinpoint cross from Cole Palmer was all it took for the Argentine midfielder to win the game for Chelsea. Fernández captained Chelsea on the night against Spurs, and he played like one. A hard worker who was crashing the box all night got the ultimate reward and, most importantly, 3 points for his side.
Murillo Santiago Costa dos Santos

The Brazilian Wall. Murillo was once again a beast in defence for Forest — but we have said that many times this campaign. The Brazilian had 88% passing accuracy, with 10 of those passes going into the final third. He made 5 recoveries, 3 blocks, and 12 clearances — one being a goal-line clearance right at the end of the game.
Antony Elanga

As Murillo was blocking United’s shots from going in, Elanga was tormenting Manchester United’s defence. The Swede completed 6 dribbles, won 9 duels, and also scored the all-important goal for his side to claim all 3 points at the City Ground.
Morgan Rogers

It is not an easy gig to go to the Amex Stadium and beat Brighton convincingly, but Rogers helped Aston Villa achieve just that. The English midfielder was brilliant as he provided 2 assists to help his side to a much-needed 3 points in the race to qualify for Europe.
