Match Summary
The referee blows the whistle for full-time, as Spurs run out 3-0 victors in the North London derby. However, Harry Kane’s penalty set Spurs on their way after just 22 minutes. The referee pointed to the spot after Cedric bundled over Son as a Kulusevski cross was floated towards the back post. Kane stepped up, and stroked the ball into the bottom right corner to put his side in front.
Arsenal’s task was made harder on 33 minutes. Rob Holding received a second yellow card for bringing down Son as he looked to chase onto a Dier through ball. Kane then made it 2-0 just four minutes later, after Bentancur nodded a Son cross towards the back post. Kane slid in at the back stick to head home and give his team a 2-0 lead at the break. Any hopes of a comeback from the Gunners were quickly dashed just minutes into the second half, when Son lashed into the far corner to make it 3-0 and secure a crucial win.
