Manchester United found themselves in trouble early in the first half as Josip Ilicic gave Gian Piero Gasperini’s men an early lead. Atalanta would feel like they should have won at Old Trafford a few weeks ago. The Bergamo club would feel they should have won this match too but Cristiano Ronaldo had other ideas. The Portuguese captain scored a dramatic equalizer for Manchester United right at the death to give Manchester United a very important point.
Manchester United were not very impressive, but Cristiano Ronaldo turned up with a brace to save the Mancunians and their boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Paulo Dybala also scored a brace to help Juventus claim a convincing 4-2 home victory over Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Robert Lewandowski was in his element again as the Polish striker scored a hat-trick in a 5-2 win over Benfica.
Just like in the first leg, Barcelona needed only one goal to see off Dynamo Kyiv. Ansu Fati scored emphatically to hand Barça their second UCL win of the season.
