Real Madrid and Brazilian star Vinícius Júnior wins the FIFA Best player of the year award after Ballon d’or snub. The 24-year-old attacker comfortably beat Ballon d’or winner Rodri to the award to the delight of many fans on Tuesday.
Vinícius Júnior and Real Madrid had a fantastic year last season, as the La Liga giants won the La Liga, the Champions League, and also the Spanish Super cup in 2023/24.
The 23-year-old attacker alongside Jude Bellingham was important to everything Real Madrid did right last season. Scoring important goals in the Super Cup, later stages of the UEFA Champions League and also in the final. Vinicius was also one of Real Madrid’s best players in La Liga for the 2023/24 campaign.
Although he couldn’t push a disjointed Brazil side to Copa América victory, his dazzling efforts for Real Madrid in 2023/24 still make him the world’s best player.
