European Playoffs
10 group runners-up and two other teams that qualified via the Nations League route (Austria and Czech Republic) will battle it out for places in the WC finals next year.
The playoffs will take place next March. The playoffs draw will be on November 26th, 2021. The seeded teams will be drawn against the teams not seeded. However, UEFA might not draw Ukraine and Russia together because of Political reasons.

CAF Qualifiers
In the CAF WC qualifiers, Nigeria emerged group winners and have qualified for the CAF World Cup Playoffs.
Cameroon shocked Ivory Coast to also qualify for the CAF World Cup playoffs as group winners. Also, there are only 5 slots for African teams, so, the 10 teams have to slug it out for a place at next year`s showpiece.
