Paris Saint Germain defeated Arsenal on penalties to win their second UEFA Champions League in two years. The French club had to do it the hard way after going down 1-0 through a Kai Havertz strike in the 6th minute.

Ousmane Dembele converted a penalty that was won by Gorgian winger Kvicha Kvaratskelia in the second half to even the score 1-1. Arsenal defended brilliantly to keep the score that way till the end of extra-time.
However, The Gunners could not do it in the penalty shootout as Gabriel Magalhaes missed a decisive kick that saw PSG become only the second team ever to retain the Champions League in it’s current format.
