- Real Madrid 1-1 Manchester City
- X-Factor Will Decide Tie In Manchester
Manchester City held Real Madrid in Spain as both side look to seal a spot in the final of the UEFA Champions League. It took two brilliant strikes to breach the defences, with Vinicius and Kevin de Bruyne both scoring impressive goals last night.
Vinicius opened the scoring with a screamer from outside the box, after some impressive work from Camavinga.
That goal allowed Real Madrid to break through some of the early pressure from Manchester City that produced a few attempts on goal.
Kevin de Bruyne came up trumps for Manchester City again when the chips were down. The Belgian thumped in an effort past Courtois in the 67th minute from almost the same spot where Vinicius got his goal in the first half.
City v Real Madrid – It would take an X-Factor in England
Pep Guardiola said before the game yesterday, that their performance in the second leg will decide everything, and he was not wrong. However, the more you analyse yesterday’s game, the more you realize that it will take a special effort from a player or players for either side to steal this one in Manchester.
Real Madrid are well organized, they know how to turn up for the big games, and Manchester City will be at home willing to risk more, it promises to be explosive again at the Etihad.
Still have Real Madrid to go through..
