Manchester City made light work of West Ham at the Etihad Stadium thanks to a brace from Erling Haaland. The Citizens kept the pressure on Arsenal in the Premier League title race as the Gunners also picked up all three points away at Everton through a Victor Gyokeres penalty.
Manchester City were in control against West Ham as they took all three points and briefly went top of the table.

City were brilliant throughout the first half, with Cherki, Reijnders, Erling Haaland, and Phil Foden all dominating West Ham in the final third.
City took the lead after just five minutes when Phil Foden ran into the box and found Haaland. Haaland’s first-time shot was saved by Alphonse Areola, but the French goalkeeper could not stop Haaland’s rebound effort.
Tijjani Reijnders got in on the action to make the score safe at half-time with a brilliant finish after good work from Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland.

Haaland added a third in the second half to completely kill off the game as City continued to show they have what it takes to push Arsenal to the end.
Arsenal Win Away At Everton
The Gunners themselves were efficient against Everton. They took the lead from a Viktor Gyokeres penalty after Everton defender Jake O’Brien handled the ball inside the box during a corner kick.

Arsenal put in another well-managed performance to secure all three points at a difficult stadium against a stubborn team like Everton. The Toffees almost had a penalty of their own, but VAR ruled it out.
Leandro Trossard and Martin Zubimendi struck the post as Arsenal tried to add to their tally in the second half. Arsenal’s defence stood tall to grind out another important result.
