Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Gunners are making progress in discussions with RB Leipzig, as they look to wrap up a deal for the young striker quickly.

Finally, Mikel Arteta is getting a natural striker, a piece Arsenal have been missing for years because of Gabriel Jesus’s niggling injuries and unavailability.

Sesko is highly rated by Mikel Arteta, and the Gunners have chosen to pursue the Slovenian striker instead of Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres. The Gunners will have to pay close to RB Leipzig’s valuation of £75 million this summer as they look to reinforce a squad that suffered from key injuries this season.

The Gunners are also on the lookout for a top winger. Arteta reportedly remains a huge fan of Spanish winger Nico Williams. However, the Spaniard will likely require a huge salary offer to consider a move outside Spain. Arteta’s side have also drawn links to Real Madrid forward Rodrygo.
