France Football have announced the Nominees for the 2023 Ballon d’or award.
Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland are expected to lead the polls for this year’s award. The Argentine makes the list largely because of his exploits at the World Cup in Qatar, while Erling Haaland’s 52 goals in all competitions pushed Manchester City to their first-ever treble.
