Barcelona President Joan Laporta has vowed that Barça will do anything to Bring Messi back this summer.
PSG and Lionel Messi will reportedly part ways at the end of this season. Although there are offers from Saudi Arabia for the World Cup winner, Messi wants to remain in Europe and reportedly fancies a move back to his former club.
After celebrating the club’s 27th La Liga title triumph, Laporta claims the club are working to bring Lionel Messi back.
“Messi deal? We will also discuss that, yes. We are working to have the possibility to build a very competitive team next season”, told. “We’ll see if they will approve our viability plan”.
Laporta also told Jijantes the club will try everything to bring the Argentine back.
“We will do everything we can to bring Leo Messi back to Barcelona.”
Barcelona will have to put up a reasonable and feasible financial package that will be approved by La Liga if they are to bring the Argentine back.
La Liga chairman Javier Tebas has also stated that he would love to see Messi return to Spain. Tebas claimed Sergio Busquet is leaving the club, so Barça can facilitate a move for the PSG star.
