Champions League: The draws for the new and revamped league phase of UEFA’s elite competition took place in Monaco on Thursday.
Real Madrid are the defending champions after defeating Borussia Dortmund in last season’s final. Los Blancos will have more teams to overcome this time around due to the competition’s expansion from 32 to 36 teams.
Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa are the four English clubs involved in the competition. They join the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter.
