Chelsea and Manchester United have both sacked their managers this year in an attempt to gather pace and points for top 4 finish and UEFA Champions League qualification for next season.
However, both teams dropped points in games they should have won last night, as the Blues lost away at Fulham and Manchester United dropped two points away at Burnley.
Chelsea were hoping to build on the point they earned away at Manchester City, but that proved easier said than done.

Marc Cucurella received a red card before Chelsea could establish any foothold in the game against Fulham, and that setback ruined the Blues’ chances of returning to winning ways at Craven Cottage.
Raúl Jiménez scored a brilliant header early in the second half to give Fulham the lead after the referee ruled out a goal they scored just before half-time.

Fulham were slow in taking advantage of having one player more. Chelsea grew back into the game, and before long Chalobah played Liam Delap through on goal through a Cole Palmer dummy, but the Leno thwarted his attempt lobbed attempt.
Minutes later, Delap got his first Chelsea goal, tapping home after Neto’s corner kick was headed onto the bar.

Chelsea, however, did not get away with a point, as Harry Wilson scored the winner for Fulham to draw them level on points with their SW6 neighbours.
Jaidon Anthony Denies Manchester United All 3 Points
Manchester United came from behind to lead just minutes into the second half after Ayden Heaven deflected Bashir Humphrey’s cross home.

Benjamin Šeško looked sharp as he connected well with Bruno Fernandes for United’s first goal and timed his connection to Dorgu’s ball perfectly to give his side the lead in the second half.
However, after Darren Fletcher took off the returning Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United began to struggle in midfield, and Burnley took advantage.

Jayden Antony curled home a brilliant equalizer, and United failed to retake the lead at Turf Moor. In the last two weeks, Manchester United have now dropped six points against three of the bottom five teams.
Chelsea and Manchester United will have to start picking up points if they do not want to miss out on UEFA Champions League football.
