- USMNT Star Joins Milan in a €25m deal from Chelsea
AC Milan have announced the signing of Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic on a four-year deal from Chelsea. The 24-year-old forward ends his time in London after four seasons with the Premier League side.
The American joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019 as replacement for departing Chelsea legend Eden Hazard. Although Chelsea fans will remember his form during the Covid-hit 2019/20 season, the American struggled to nail down a starting spot at Chelsea due to inconsistent form and frequent injuries.
Pulisic’s best moment for the club came early in his Chelsea career against Burnley under Frank Lampard. The American was also pivotal in Chelsea’s run to the UEFA Champions League final back in 2021.
Pulisic leaves Chelsea having made over 140 appearances, scoring 26 goals and providing 21 assists.
Pulisic will wear the number 11 shirt in Milan as he links up with former Chelsea teammates Olivier Giroud, Ruben Loftus Cheek, and Fikayo Tomori.
