According to reports, PSG are looking to poach Vinícius Júnior from Real Madrid if the European Champions sign star forward Kylian Mbappé. It would be a like for like swap in terms of their position on the pitch. According to Planeta Real Madrid, PSG will try to lure Vinicius with the promise of a starring role, but will Real Madrid be willing to swap Vinicius for Mbappé as the Brazilian is already one of the most decisive attackers in the world right now.
Real Madrid have been pursuing Mbappé since 2019, and he was reportedly close to swapping Paris for Madrid last season, but chose to extend his stay at the club, signing a 3-year deal till 2025. Real Madrid will reportedly start lurking next summer, as they would love to snap up the before the end of his contract in July 2025.
Will Real Swap Vinicius for Mbappé?
Will Real Madrid swap an exciting player already settled at the club for another star like Mbappé. If Real get Mbappé it would mean the left side of attack would have two big names and or else Mbappé starts to enjoy playing as a centre forward, there might be some problem with game-time, and that’s where PSG are looking to pounce. Mbappé almost guarantees goals, but in recent years, Vinícius Júnior has also shown how decisive and important he can be for Los Blancos, and he is still only 22.
It would be interesting to follow what happens with this potential transfer in the future, but as for now, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is absolutely fine with Vinícius Júnior
