Everton have secured Premier League football for at least next season. The Toffees had to dig deep with Dominic Calvert-Lewin securing three points with a late header against Crystal Palace.
Everton had to come back from being 2 goals down against a very strong Crystal Palace side. Mateta and Andre Ayew gave Patrick Viera’s men a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Everton were a different side after the break though. Keane pulled one back with a great strike before Richarlison equalised after Andersen’s failed clearance.
Calvert-Lewin then secured all three points with a diving header to turn in Gray’s free-kick.
The pressure is now off Everton going into their final game of the season against Arsenal, as they now can’t be caught by Leeds United or Burnley.
As for Palace, they miss the chance to move into the top half. They stay in 13th ahead of their last game against Manchester United.
