Following an injury to Kai Havertz, Arsenal have moved to sign a new attacker. The Gunners have agreed a deal to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.

The England international will join Arsenal for a figure around £65million. He rejected Spurs in favour of a move to Arsenal, where he was released as a youngster.
He will sign a long-term contract with The Gunners and will join up with Arteta’s men ahead of their match this weekend at home to Leeds United.
The Gunners have come under criticism for focusing on recruiting defenders and defensive midfielders, but with the addition of Eberecho Eze, Arsenal’s attack finally looks like what an Elite team would be proud of.

Eze Solves Major Problems For Arsenal
Last season, Arsenal had to deal with the loss of Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz at key points during the season. It was common knowledge that The Gunners lacked a goalscorer, but they were also predictable in buildup, and less creative in tougher games against top sides, The signing of Eze solves that problem for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Eze can also slot in perfectly on the left wing in certain game where Arsenal face deep blocks. Having Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze who are top dribblers will help break into even the deepest of blocks, and that makes Arsenal even better.

Eze can also play as a natural number 10. In case of an injury to Martin Odegaard, Eze has the skill set to play for Arsenal perfectly in that role, just like he has done many times for Crystal Palace.
At 27, Eze is in the perfect phase of his career to be an immediate success for Arsenal, as the club is also trying to compete on all four fronts this season. His signing takes Mikel Arteta’s spending since his appointment at Arsenal over £1billion, and The Spanish manager will e hoping Eze is his lucky charm to finally land a major trophy for the Gunners.
