The Parisians reportedly want to bring the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss to the club as they seek UEFA Champions League glory. PSG will sack Christophe Galtier this summer. Luis Campos wants his countryman José Mourinho to help PSG achieve their goals next season.
Galtier and PSG are currently on top of the Ligue 1 table, but fans expected them to at least get to the later stages of the UCL this season. Bayern Munich eliminated the French Champions in the Round of 16 of this year’s UCL.
José Mourinho is currently enjoying his stay with Roma. The Portuguese manager led the Italians to their first ever European cup last season, and are one of the favourites to win the Europa League this season. PSG want a manager with European pedigree, and also a man who can galvanize stars like Kylian Mbappé and Neymar.
Mourinho recently reiterated that he is happy in Italy, but with PSG lurking, their project could sway him to leave Rome in the summer.
