Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Colombian winger Luis Diaz. Diaz has signed a 4-year contract with The Reds and will be joining up with the squad once the winter break is over.

Luis Diaz’s deal with Liverpool is worth €60M. The Colombian completed his deal with Liverpool in Argentina. He had his medical and signed his deal with The Reds in Argentina. His transfer is still subject to international clearance and a work permit.


Luis Diaz is a natural winger who turned 25 this year. He is a pacy winger who will add dynamism to the Liverpool frontline. Diaz was wanted by Tottenham, but Liverpool swooped in as Klopp has been monitoring the Colombian for some time. Chelsea were also linked, but they never made a move.


Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp stated that the club really wanted Luis Diaz. The club had to go all out to complete Luis Diaz`s deal in South America where is on international duty.
The Colombian will spot the number 23 at Liverpool.
