Manchester City have started talks with Chelsea forward Pedro Neto and his entourage. The Citizens are exploring a move for the winger if Tottenham Hotspur agree a deal for Savinho.
Spurs are closing in on an agreement with Manchester City for the signature of the Brazilian winger, and Savinho’s move to North London could kickstart a transfer domino involving wingers that could rack up £350 million in transfer fees around Europe.

If Tottenham Hotspur land their two targets in Cody Gakpo and Savinho, City will sign Pedro Neto, and Liverpool will complete a deal to sign Bradley Barcola, while Ajax replace the Frenchman with Mika Godts.
Neto has been an important player for Chelsea since he joined the club in 2024 from Wolves, and former manager Enzo Maresca, now at Manchester City, favored him. Chelsea will want more than the £60 million they paid for him back in 2024 if they sanction a move to rivals Manchester City.
Selling Neto means Chelsea might have to look for another winger to add to their attack this season, as they are also expected to sanction the loan or sale of players like Liam Delap, Nicolas Jackson, and potentially, returnee Mykhailo Mudryk.
Neto is one of the options City are looking at, and they value him for his Premier League experience and versatility, as he can operate on the right and left of attack and is quite familiar with Enzo Maresca’s demands.
