With Liverpool’s 1-0 Win over West Ham, Manchester City need a win to open up a 6 points gap on Liverpool again. The Merseyside club have a game in hand. Therefore any slip-up against Manchester United will present Liverpool with the perfect opportunity to catch Manchester City.

Chelsea have opened a six-point gap over Manchester United too after their 4-0 win away at Burnley. Manchester United’s hopes for a top 4 finish has suffered too many blows recently. A win at Etihad will boost morale and give United momentum in their bid to qualify for next season`s UEFA Champions League.
